Terms of Service

Last updated: 9 April 2026

1. Who we are

FightBack (“FightBack”, “we”, “us”) is an AI-powered tool that turns a plain-English consumer complaint into a formal demand letter citing the relevant UK or EU consumer law. By using the service you agree to these Terms of Service.

FightBack is a document-generation tool, not a law firm. The letters we generate are not legal advice and we are not your solicitor. You are responsible for reviewing every letter before sending it and for deciding whether to act on it. If your situation is serious or high-value, consult a qualified solicitor.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use FightBack to:

  • Harass, threaten or defame any person or company.
  • Make claims you know to be false or misleading.
  • Impersonate another person or submit a complaint on their behalf without their permission.
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape or attempt to disrupt the service.

4. Free tier, paid plans and payment

The first letter generated against any given email address is free. Additional letters require a paid plan, listed on our pricing page. Payments are processed by our payment provider, Paddle. By purchasing a plan you also agree to Paddle’s buyer terms. You can cancel a subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

5. Your content and ours

You own the letters we generate for you and may use them for any lawful purpose. We retain ownership of the FightBack software, prompts, and branding. You grant us a limited licence to process the information you submit purely so we can generate your letter and operate the service.

6. No warranty, limited liability

The service is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee that any letter will succeed, that a company will respond, or that the law cited is the only law that applies to your situation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of your use of FightBack is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms or misuse the service. You may stop using FightBack at any time.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page; the “last updated” date above will reflect the most recent revision.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be heard in the courts of England and Wales, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence.
