Refund Policy

1. Summary
We want you to be happy with FightBack. If a paid letter clearly fails to generate, or your subscription was charged in error, we will refund you. This page explains exactly when refunds apply and how to request one.
2. Try before you buy
Every email address gets one free letter. You can confirm that the service works for your situation before paying anything. See our pricing page for the full plan list.
3. Pay-per-letter purchases
A pay-per-letter purchase is a one-off digital good. You are entitled to a full refund if:
- We failed to deliver a generated letter for the purchase (technical failure on our side); or
- You were charged twice for the same purchase due to a billing error.
Because letters are AI-generated digital goods that are delivered immediately, we cannot offer refunds simply because you changed your mind after a successful generation. By starting the generation flow on a paid plan you expressly consent to immediate delivery of the digital content and acknowledge that this waives the standard 14-day cooling-off period under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and the EU Consumer Rights Directive.
4. Monthly subscriptions
Monthly subscriptions can be cancelled at any time from your billing portal. Cancellation stops future renewals; the current billing period continues until its end and is not pro-rated. You may request a full refund of your most recent monthly charge if:
- You cancel within 14 days of your initial subscription start; and
- You have not generated more than one paid letter during that billing period.
5. How to request a refund
Email support@fightback.help from the address used at purchase. Include the Paddle order/transaction ID and a short description of the problem. We aim to reply within two business days. Approved refunds are issued by Paddle to the original payment method and typically arrive within 5–10 business days.
6. Chargebacks
If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us first — we can almost always resolve it directly and faster than a chargeback. Filing a chargeback for a successfully delivered letter without first contacting us may result in suspension of your account.
7. Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy affects any non-waivable consumer rights you have under the law of the country where you live. See also our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
